In municipal water supply, fire fighting and industrial fluid projects, valves are the core accessories of the control system. Most of the failures, such as water seepage, pressure relief, valve body cracking and hidden water leakage, occurred frequently in the later stage of the project, are not material problems, but quality hazards caused by omission and simplification of pressure test procedures by manufacturers. Most low price valves in the market are only subject to sampling pressure test, and even directly skip the sealing test. Defective products flow into the construction site, which is very easy to cause rework and after-sales disputes. As the source valve factory with its own casting workshop, we adhere to 100% pressure testing of all industrial valves one by one, so as to eliminate engineering quality hazards from the source with strict testing procedures higher than the general industry standards.

All main valves of our series are independently cast with high-quality QT450 nodular cast iron, with toughness and compressive strength far exceeding that of common gray iron. With dual standardized hydraulic test, each valve’s pressure bearing and sealing performance is comprehensively verified. The first step is pressure test of shell strength, which is to stabilize and maintain the pressure according to 1.5 times of nominal pressure, observe the status of valve body, flange and connection position for a long time, accurately eliminate defects such as sand hole, air hole and microcrack left by the casting process, and ensure that the valve is free from deformation, water seepage and crack under long-term high pressure working condition.

The second is pressure test for sealing performance. Closed-loop pressure maintaining is conducted according to 1.1 times of nominal pressure. Tightness of valve seat, diaphragm and sealing point is strictly inspected to eliminate hidden problems such as micro leakage, untight closing and pressure release. Whether it is a conventional water supply valve or a customized non-standard valve body, we will never simplify the test process, and resolutely eliminate the pattern of cheating on workmanship and materials by replacing the full inspection with sampling inspection.

Relying on the owned foundry and intelligent ERP digital management system, the pressurization data and inspection records of each valve are scanned and retained throughout the process and traceable. The whole process from blank casting, machining to pressing and quality inspection is controlled independently, which not only ensures the structural strength of the valve body, but also ensures the sealing stability. The engineering rework and after-sales cost are reduced from the root cause, and the high-quality valve matching with high stability and zero hidden dangers is provided for overseas dealers and engineering projects.
