The silent check valve is available in PN10 and PN16,150LB pressure ratings. The valve body is made of ductile iron, the seat is made of brass, and the valve shaft is made of 304 stainless steel.

The silent check valve uses the pressure of the medium itself to automatically open and close the valve disc, preventing backflow and pump reversal.

Silent check valves are used for shorter pipelines, while slow-closing check valves are used for longer pipelines. This is because longer pipelines experience greater water hammer, which can cause more damage.

For shorter pipelines, a silent check valve can be installed: when water impacts the valve core, the valve disc opens, allowing water to flow in and out from the other side. As the water recedes, the valve core returns to its original position, preventing further water flow. This achieves a check valve function.
