Structure composition

200X pressure reducing and stabilizing valve consists of main valve, pilot valve (pilot valve), needle valve, ball valve, micro filter and pressure gauge to form a complete hydraulic control connection system. The main valve is an actuator, which directly controls the pipeline medium flow through the opening and closing of the valve flap; As the control core, the pilot valve senses the outlet pressure and compares it with the set spring force to control the pressure of the main valve control room through its opening and closing; The needle valve is a throttling element that controls the velocity of water flow into the main valve control room.

Common materials of main parts include: valve body and bonnet are made of Ductile Iron The needle valve and ball valve are usually made of copper alloy or stainless steel; NBR is mostly used for sealing ring and O-shaped ring; The valve rod shall be made of stainless steel; Spring steel, etc.

Operational principle

200X pressure reducing valve realizes self-operated pressure reduction and stabilization by using the energy of the medium itself, and the specific process is as follows:

Water inlet stage: when the valve feeds water from the inlet end, the water flows through the needle valve into the main valve control room, and the outlet pressure acts on the pilot valve through the conduit.

Overpressure closing: when the outlet pressure is higher than the set value of the pilot valve spring, the pilot valve is closed, the control room stops draining water, the pressure in the main valve control room rises and the main valve is closed, and the outlet pressure no longer rises.

Under pressure opening: when the outlet pressure drops to the set pressure of the pilot valve spring, the pilot valve opens and the control room discharges water to the downstream. As the water discharge of the pilot valve system is greater than the water inflow of the needle valve, the pressure of the main valve control room drops, and the inlet pressure opens the main valve.

Stable state: the inlet and outlet of the control room are the same, the opening of the main valve remains unchanged, and the outlet pressure is stable. The outlet pressure can be set by adjusting the pilot valve spring.

Method of adjustment

The adjustment steps are as follows:

Close the gate valve in front of the pressure reducing valve and open the gate valve behind the pressure reducing valve to create a downstream low-pressure environment.

Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise to the highest position (relative to the lowest outlet pressure) and close the gate valve behind the pressure reducing valve.

Slowly open the gate valve in front of the pressure reducing valve until it is fully opened.

Slowly rotate the adjusting screw clockwise to adjust the outlet pressure to the required pressure (based on the gauge pressure behind the valve).

Lock the locknut and open the gate valve behind the pressure reducing valve after adjustment.

Note: if the outlet pressure is higher than the set pressure during adjustment, readjustment must be started from the first step, i.e. only from low pressure to high pressure.

Application Scenario

The application scenarios of 200X piloted pressure reducing valve mainly include:

High-rise and super-high-rise building water supply system: solve the problem of excessive pressure in the domestic water and fire water system, completely replace the intermediate water tank, save the construction cost and expand the use area.

Zoned water supply of pressure reducing valve: in the fire fighting system, when the water supply pressure of pressure reducing valve zoning exceeds 1.20MPa, pilot operated pressure reducing valve should be adopted; In the second stage of series pressure reduction, the pressure difference before and after the valve should be ≤ 0.40MPa.
