Fire signal gate valves are key components of fire water systems. The correct use of signal gate valves affect the safety and reliability of the entire system.

The key of the signal valve is the microswitch. When the valve handwheel is turned, it will drive the gear to rotate. When the valve is “fully open” and “fully closed”, the cam will respectively press the corresponding microswitch, thus connecting or disconnecting the circuit, and transmitting the electrical signal to the fire control room for a long distance to achieve status monitoring.

Installation specifications:

1.The signal module must be installed at the outlet pipe of the water pump.

2.The signal module needs to be waterproofed.

3.The operating space for the handle should be ≥ 0.6 meters.

1.Manual on/off test once a month,
2.Inspect signal lines once a quarter,
3.Replace the sealing gasket once a year.
